Module One: This is a foundational chapter introducing the fundamentals of this course and the course setup. It introduces the concept of closing the diagnostic loop – explaining the role of in vitro diagnostic tests in healthcare. You will learn the definition of an IVD and be able to distinguish between an IVD and other medical devices.
Module Two: This module takes a detailed dive into the tests and technology. It covers the comprehensive range of technologies used in the pathology and specialty laboratories for human health testing.
